Tabletop, Phelps

Feb6-Sunday AM after a good Saturday eve snowfall, took trail from Loj 8:15A-> Marcy Dam 9:15A-> Tabletop 12:15A. 4-6" new snow on trail, Seemed more like a foot on climb up Tabeltop. Broke trail - this didn't feel like a walk in the Park. Met up with "Gary & Jackie" and they did more then their share breaking. THey bailed out of Phelps but trail there was broken. Pelps Summit 2:50P. OUt by 4:40PM home by 11PM
SNowshoes & Pole. Crampons not necessary.5hr+ drive back caught the whole SUperbowl.
