Trail conditions: Hard packed from the parking lot..some ice on the steeper sections but easily avoided. Brook crossings were open but presented no issue. A few blowdowns recently removed
Equipment: we used mini crampons from the parking lot and they were perfect..Worn microspikes might have struggled in the boilerplate at times
Comments: a brief hiking window kept us close to home and this worked out fine..carried the snowshoes but could have left them in the car as until there is fresh snow this trail is hard pack and the mini crampons or sharp micros will be fine
