Date of Hike: 1/9/08
Trail Conditions: 2"-6" powder over the packed trail. Windblown down to hard pack in the area that parallels the ski trails.
Special Equipment Required: Bare boots to start but switched to snow shoes 1/4 way up to better pack the trail, especially in a few drifts near the top. Took them all the way back down to the only crossing. Only a light fleece needed until the peak where wind and single digits prompted a shell.
Comments: Clear low but no views above. Met another solo hiker in SS about 2/3 way up. By the time he got down the trail should be in quite nice shape.
