On Valentine's Day, Denise and I hiked the Carter-Moriah Trail from Gorham, over Surprise Mt. and on toward Mt. Moriah. The trail was well packed and we used microspikes with no danger of postholing. Thank you, thank you, Guy, for your willingness to check on whether we made it back down after Denise began to feel ill. We got back to the car at 2:45, and by then Denise had made just about a full recovery. She is going to check with her doctor this week. Best wishes, Alec
