North and Middle Carter's via imp trail on the 29th. Broke the trail the whole way after the first mile of the imp trail. Snowshoes the whole day. Imp and N. Carter trail from a foot the three feet in the drifts. Crusty at the bottom softer the higher you go. Perfect day in the whites, sunny and clear with really good views of the presidentials.
South and Dome on the 30th. Nineteen mile is a side walk up to the hut. We wore snowshoes for traction but could of just wore boots. All trails in this area well packed. With the exception on Carter Dome to the hut. We wore snow shoes other we saw had on crampons on the step parts at the top coming down. We rocked the snowshoes. Colder and a lot more cloud cover this day. MSR assents are the way to go.
Camp on route 16 with new -15 bag and two man four season tent. Indian food at camp fantastic.
Great few days in the whites as always. Started to snow when we left on Wednesday so be mindful.
