I am looking for company on a couple of hikes next week in Baxter State Pakr. I have a couple of spare reservations inside the park to get around the morning wait in line. Both of these are long day hikes and would really require staying inside the park to save the travel time from the gate to the trailhead.
The first is a day hike of the new Traveler trail in the north end of the park, I plan to camp at south branch the night before and have a site for the night after. On the 3rd, I plan to do the traverse over Baxter Peak from Roaring Brook to Katahdin Stream via Helon Taylor, Knifes Edge and the Hunt trail (AT). I have spare reservations at the base of the mountain, but still plan to head over to Roaring Brook early morning (but no need to wait in line at the gate). I would greatly appreciate company on this one as otherwise I will have to hitch back to get my car
