First half or so is fairly well packed. Most of the next half is broken but unpacked. Very end not broken. Upper areas have some blowdown and bendovers which will just slow you down; and lots of spruce-fir growing into the tunnel trail, although the snow is now off them.
Snowshoes necessary, with crampons on them advisable.
