Date of hike: August 8
Trails: Livermore to Scaur Ridge to Pine Bend Brook to Mt. Tripyramid Loop to Livermore.
Trail Conditions: Generally dry; the few moist areas were not a problem. All water crossings rock-hoppable with the assistance of a walking pole. Bugs no problem. Awesome day, awesome hike!!
Special equipment: walking pole(s) if you use them
Comments: Since we were hiking with a dog, we chose to add a 8/10 of a mile to the hike and bypass the North Slide. Contrary to most descriptions of the Scaur Ridge trail, there is a steep section that requires some scrambling (and some minor dog assistance!)
