Me and the uncomparable scotch taster and joke teller McRat are going to the tripyramid's tomorrow instead of WORKING!! haha! He is stopping here around 8 so we will be heading up pine bend brook trail from the kanc around 9:30 I'd guess. slow steady pace, and a shot at the top! We plan to bag north and middle. No idea of the conditions, I've never been up that way. I'm reading about a ridiculous number of brook crossings, but it can't be that bad, hopefully.
Should be a good day, with a ridiculously early(for me) start. It offends my religious beliefs to start a winter hike before noon, but he is a family man and must be back at a decent hour(like before wednesday). Anyone with full winter gear, some endurance and a good sense of humor can join the fun and adventure. You'll get some 15 year old Laphroaig at the top too. Over and out.
