Date of Hike: Sunday, May 31, 2009
Trail Conditions: Many brook/stream crossings on both trails. Most easily rock hopped, but several near bottom of Sabbaday Brook Trail required getting feet wet.
Some snow remains at higher elevations but nothing serious. Largest patch of snow is between South and Middle Tripyramid.
Three blowdowns on Sabbaday Brook Trail. Two lower down are easily passable, but one on upper half of trail not passable. Significant erosion along the herd path that has been created to get around it.
Special Equipment Required: None
Comments:
Some mosquitoes down low on both trails, but not too bad yet.
