Did an out-and-back from the Kanc on Tuesday. Trail was more moist than I expected. There's water where one expects there to be water, although the stream levels are quite low.
One blowdown a couple hundred yards from the road. Easily stepped over.
The only thing worth noting is that the trail is in desperate needs of blazing. I know the route because I've done it so many times, but it's a good thing I have, because blazes are few and far between. I found myself thinking that if it were my first trip up and leaves had started to fall, it would be quite hard to figure out where to go in many spots, especially as one begins to ascend.
