Hike: Owl’s Head via Flume Slide.

Flume Slide up. Bushwhack down to Lincoln Brook Trail. Owl’s Head Slide up. Brutus Bushwhack down. Bushwhack to Franconia Falls on the way out.

If we’re early, maybe stop to cool our feet at Franconia Falls.

My only day to hike is tomorrow. I have a party on Saturday so no hiking.

You could make it three slides to go with three whacks if you take Lincoln Slide down to Lincoln Brook!

Wish I had no cookout going on that day because owls head is the one hike on my list I will not try solo and would like to get in with a group who knows exactly where they are going. Sounds like a good trip!

In case this isn't obvious, the hike plan also gets Flume. The top of Flume Slide is also the top of Mt. Flume.

I was going to suggest the same as Dave Bear, also very easy to add Lincoln and Lafayette with that circuit, and I can think of two additional bushwack segments I have used in the past with that route that are gems. ;-)


But then your subject line would read two slides; four bushwhacks, and 5 4ks ...just sayin'.
