WOW...they did really well. Those Minnesotans are tough!!!

Cool story, sounds like they were prepared with about the right supplies and the right attitude (most importantly). The critical detail that they missed was the difficulty of crossing a high, fast moving river. Same thing that presumably killed Chris McCandless.
