After 3 years with no more than 2 days off in a row, and compiling many 6 day work weeks, it is time for a vacation. My wife can't wait to send me back into the woods, so I can get rid of all this stress.
I have my pack fully loaded (with the exception of perishable food) sitting in my living room ready to go. It was so bad that I took a picture of it and put as my background on the computer at work.
I am doing the Franconia-Garfield-Twin-Bond loop with a chance of hitting Carrigain and the Hancocks. I will be leaving Sunday 11-6 with enough food for the entire week and will be traveling throughout the entire pemi wilderness.
Not to offend anyone here but I have put out a "do not rescue" me for any reason. If I do not return it is because I have chosen not to return to civilization EVER!
