Valley Way to Mt. Madison 12/9

Valley Way was packed down until the last half or mile or so. There was fresh snow on the trail. We barebooted it fairly easily. You could also use snowshoes. Crampons not needed. Poles very useful. Beautiful sunny say. On the summit warm winter clothes are needed-cold and windy.
This is #30 for me.
