Can you see Mount Marshall's south side clearly from Adams?

Yes you can, Neil, but binoculars may be helpful if you're looking to recon that slide from Adams. My pictures (film camera) were from a splendid clear day, but the slide, way up at the top of the headwall(?) is quite a distance away and doesn't really jump out. There's also a skinnier slide up that valley on the east flank of the 1102 metre subpeak SW of Marshall.

I believe it's the east slide that I'm interested in. According to JW the other one involves a steady diet of my least favourite vegetables: blowdown and spruce.

Can you e-mail that pic? Are you interested in this trip? Of course you are! Hillman1 is also game. It's Bubba's 46th to boot. How often to you shwack to a summit and drink bubbly?

Neil -
1) It's a 4x6 photo snapshot, and, sadly, I have no scanner.
2) The eastside slide up that subpeak reaches about 3/4 to the top, but that ridge top slopes back down to the north, leaving a tough haul down and then back up to Marshall. If Bubba wants to tag #46 that way, he should get a purple heart to go along with his patch!
3) PM me an address, if you'd like, and I could MAIL you the pic. How's THAT for an anachronism?

Can't see too much can you? The question that is raised though is where the heck does that slide end up?
Take a look at the .jpeg I prepared. I thought it was the peak I indicate on the left, now i'm not so sure.

Oh, and Bubba plans on hiking Marshall via a trail. :D
