Just wanted to give a heads-up about two upcoming events celebrating the publication of the centennial edition of the AMC WHITE MOUNTAIN GUIDE, 28TH EDITION.
Wednesday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m.
AMC Highland Center, Crawford Notch, NH (Thayer Hall)
Wednesday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m.
AMC Headquarters at 5 Joy Street, Boston (Cabot Auditorium)
Both of these release events are open to the public. You'll have the opportunity to meet White Mountain Guide editors Gene Daniell and Steve Smith, who, along with AMC cartographer Larry Garland, will participate in a panel discussion. An open Q&A will follow. There will also be a book signing, a display of White Mountains memorabilia, and a special preview of the online companion to the guide.
