Important: Sign at the parking area states that park is closed, but many others were hiking.
Trail Conditions: Downed trees have been cleared. Ledges are mostly bare, the remainder of the trail is a mix of ice, rock, snow and running water. The trail will be very icey when it refreezes tonight. Auto road is gated(always in winter) but has also been cleared.
Special Equipment Required: Stabilicers were very helpful on the ice. Hiked in shorts and t-shirt in 48 degrees weather with 45mph winds at the top.
Comments: Very surprised at how well the trail has been cleared, but the park is still listed as closed.
