Parking: Summer parking area is now inaccessible due to snowbank at last house on road, so plan on parking in lot 0.1 mile west of the access road on US 2.
Trail Conditions: Snow is only 2-3 inches deep at the start, and progresses to approximately 6-10 inches by Starr King. There are sections up to 12-14 inches deep on the ridge between Starr King & Waumbek. The trail is packed down throughout and incredibly easy to follow at the current moment. There were 2 or 3 blowdowns, but they could be easily climbed over.
Equipment: Snowshoes could be used from 1/4 mile before the summit of Starr King all the way to Waumbek, but this is all barebootable still. We used stabiliciers from start to finish, but we didn't really have to.
