Today Sherpa John and I got out to Webster Cliff trail. The wind has finally picked up in the whites and the haze is disipatting. We fed a hungry group of 7 thru hikers last night. Burgers and mac n cheese. They ate like pigs but the strories around the campfire at our site were priceless.

SJ's legs are still very tired but after about an hour of the uphills he was finally back in form and feeling great (so he said). My sunburn from the Adams hike has finally blistered and my ankle is still very sore. I'm sure SJ will have a decent trip report up when he gets home.

We're both very excited to still be up north. We're hiking Garfield Saturday and SJ may run up the Cannon Slopes on Sunday on our way home. We're also very excited to still be getting donations for Diabetes in our donations bins up here! It's been a successful week!

Hope everyone is well!

Glad to hear you and John are doing Ok. Ya know whats funny? You mentioned the sunburn you got on your Adams hike. Well, MtnMagic was telling me this past Sunday about HIS Adams hike (he says he met you and your crew up there.) Poor guy was red as a drunk santa clause that fell in red paint :D . SilentCal was pretty red himself, but Magic really was bad! First thing he did Sunday was make sure we all had sunscreen ;) .
Anyways, good luck to you two!

Get sunscreened up and rehydrated, and I'll see you on Garfield this Saturday!
:)

(heck, I'm considering bringing an umbrella or piece of tarp in case I end up on top for too long)
