Anyone else crazy enough to want to attempt some NE Hundred Highest whacks along with me? I have an idea about what I'd like to do but I would be open to trying for any of the following:

Cupsuptic Snow
E Kennebago
Elephant
White Cap
Boundary
North Kennebago Divide

If you're interested, send me a pm and we'll talk details. :)

Bummer....I'd love to join you this weekend for some of these peaks but I've got other stuff going on for this weekend. :(

Good Luck!

I would love to do these peaks as well! Later on in the year would probably be better for me....... I'm wondering if I should post the peaks I'm interested in from the NE 100 highest, it includes all of those above.

Later in the year would probably be better for me too, (condition wise) but yet I can't resist heading up for an attempt this weekend. :)

I'll be heading back up to Maine to hike whatever I have left later on, so maybe one of those trips will fit into your schedule. I'm sure I'll post looking for other interested hikers prior to those trips as well.

Sorry Ivy cannot this wk. Already committed for Abraham range, but would love to join you over next few weeks. Plan to hike on 7th May, 13th May & 27th May with no firm agenda yet fixed. Open to suggestions.

I would be interested as well, but I've already committed to other plans. Keep me in the loop though. I really want to get to Cupsuptic Snow, E Kennebago, and Elephant. Of course, I love Boundary Peak and would be interested in approaching it from the US side for a change.

Alright, well I will definitely plan to head to Maine for some more whackin' on the weekend of May 6-7 then (and anyone who is interested is welcome to come along.) :) I'm still hoping to get a peak or two done this weekend too so the itinerary will depend on whether I accomplish anything this weekend.

Weekend of May 7

Hello Amy,
I put a soft circle around the above weekend for a possible hike with you in that area some time ago. Among other relevant variables, your report of conditions you encounter up there this weekend will be interesting.
Have fun, Mike

I attempted one of these peaks last weekend, so I already have tales to tell of the conditions that I wasn't really properly prepared for. :) But then I don't want to dissaude you from coming! Maybe these warm temperatures have melted some of that snow this week. Here's hoping anyway! :)

I can't get out there this weekend, but I'd definitely be interested in getting these peaks.

Keep me in the loop, Amy, and good luck this weekend.

Can't get away either day this weekend after a hopeful Friday trip, but I am certainly game for hiking all the Maine whacks again, hopefully I can join you at a later time Amy. Expect snow, I found snow at the summit of some of those peaks in June last year (along with abundant bugs!!!).

Indeed, there was more than three feet up near the summit of one of the peaks last weekend. Fortunately, no bugs yet. I'm hoping to get these hikes in before bug season gets too bad... I have other goals for later on this spring/summer. :)
