When are the ADK'S 'green'

Pretty simple question here. I have hiked extensivily in Summer-Fall-Winter in the Northeast, but never in the spring. I know that the leaves take longer to come out in the north country from the one time I was in the region last June 1. Looked like PA in early-mid May. I was surprised that the leaves were not yet fully out. When are the leaves fully out in the ADK's?

They have just started to come back. We need some nice, warm sunny days for a stretch. We haven't had that many nice days. Still in the 40's but we have had a few 60's-70 degree days already. I'de give it another few weeks or so.
In the Mountains it may take until June.
