Where is "Plans Too Much"

In hopes of setting up transportation for a hike, I'm trying to locate the fellow from Rutland, Vermont with the nom de montaine "Plans Too Much". He is the caretaker for the Minerva Hinchley Shelter on the Long Trail, as I recall, and also used to offer car shuttles in the central VT area. Any leads would be appreciated, Thanks!

Not sure if this is the same person you're looking for but the End to Ender's Guide lists Don Groll of Middlebury as shuttler for the section that runs from Route 4 to Lincoln Gap (can be reached at 802-388-7403. Another shuttler in that same section are Al & Roma Pulling of Rutland who can be reached at 802-773-6997.

From Lincoln Gap to Journey's End, the shuttlers Andy and Carlene Squires of Richmond can be reached at 802-434-2533.

I only have personal experience with the Squires and can say that they were terrific and really inexpensive... they charge 30 cents a mile (both coming and going.)

Thanks for the information, Poison--er, Miss Ivy. One of these folks is bound to be helpful. Danielle and I arranged a shuttle Between Journey's End and Middlebury Gap with the Squires two years ago. They were, indeed, both cheap and helpful.
