White Mountain Trip XIX - July 13-22

This 19th annual trip to the Whites will include 40 miles of hiking along the Appalachian Trail and the climbing of twenty NH 4,000 footers in eight days. There will be a small celebration as one of my friends will hopefully complete his White Mountain peaks on Sat. July 19 at around 1 PM on Mt. Flume. The trip will take place from July 13-22. Lodging reservations for several of us (room for a few more) will be at 7/14-Zealand, 7/15 thru 7/17 (three nights) at Galehead and 7/18 at Greenleaf. Then 7/19 thru 7/21 at Ravine Lodge (three nights) at the base of Moosilauke. Mileages range from 10-15 miles per day. Elevation gain per hike will be 3000-5000 feet. This will be a strenuous trip.
