Date of Hike: 5/17/2009
Trail Conditions:
Blueberry Ledge trail: In really wonderful shape. 100% snow free. A bit muddy towards the bottom.
Rollins trail: Very pleasant. About a dozen or so blowdowns (minor for the most part), mostly towards the Dicey's Mill junction. Really added to my wilderness experience. A few minor stretches of snow remain, all easy to bypass.
Dicey's Mill trail: Snow free. Water crossing no problem.
Special Equipment Required: Nothing, unless of course you feel like bringing your snowshoes along for one last nostalgic journey before retiring them for the season
.
Comments: No rain! Amazing, considering that it was downpouring on my way to Ferncroft. Ledges fun as usual. Great to hike with my friend Ed again. 75% of the way through my single season spring list. Sweet.
