The entire loop is packed out, Blueberry, Rollins, Dicey's Mill. Kate Sleeper from Rollins was also broken out. Tom Wiggins also broken out. No signs of any traffic on Blueberry cutoff.
Up to 2000' the snow cover is surprisingly low. No matter what people wore there was no damage to the trail although snowshoes still improved the trail somewhat. Crampons might have been the item of choice on the ledges but they were not necessary. Everybody made it up (and down) no matter what they wore.
There were a few blowdowns here and there but nothing that presented a real problem.
There were many people on the trail today. Met Juniper and I think Mats up on the top. Dave Bear told me later they were on their way to meet the record breakers.
It was a gorgeous and fairly mild day. You couldn't ask for much better for a winter hike.
