Who's Going to the FTFC April 22, '06?

It's that time again to celebrate the accomplishments of other hikers in the hiking world. I'm curious to see who's getting something or rooting on for a friend, which is what I'm doing. Also should we create a VFTT table? There's a poll going on and cast your vote and see! Information about the dinner is below:

Look forward to meeting new people on the 22!

We would be receiving 3 scrolls each (67/100/Winter 4 but since this is Bob's B-day weekend we will be away celebrating - guess we will have to wait for the mail to deliver them.

Have fun everyone.

I'm planning on attending though I won't be getting any kind of scroll this year. It was a blast hooking up with folks last year -- especially the post-celebration in Portsmouth!

I was thinking about attending, finally getting my 4000'er patch, but I'm going to be away that weekend. :(

As my friends Ridgewalker and Sapblatt know, I will be there, too. Assuming that dress is casual, I will have to decide on whether to wear my VFTT polypro shirt or my new AMC 4000 t-shirt

do they offer patches for 20-25 of the peaks  thats all I have and will probably ever have  :D  :D

as soon as I saw - no booze allowed - well - that turned me off due to discrimination

Come on Giggy - you have never snuck booze into a high school dance before? :D It is important to keep your skills sharp! :D
Maybe they give a patch for hiking Jefferson and Adams 48 times! :D
There will be beer afterwards in Portsmouth I am sure!

I usually stay away from these things, but will be getting my 111er scroll, so will make an exception ;)

Also, my hiking pal Rick (not a VFTTer) will be getting his NH 4K

I haven't submitted my NH 48 application yet for the patch... is there a deadline in order to go to the event?

Blue - There was some information about cutoff dates in the 4TFC acceptance memo. Unfortunately, I cannot recall it and the memo is back home. Unless someone else responds first, I will post the specifics this evening, after I get home from work.

Regards,
Marty

I'll be there (probably with some family) since I'm up for the 48/67/100 awards. I got the patches in the mail some time ago - now I have to dig out the letter about the dinner and see what I have to do.

See you there, whoever makes it. Bob & Geri - sorry you'll miss it since you were with me for #48/#67/#100 on Carrigain in the rain last October.

Best to all

We will have to make up for it with another trip to Maine this Summer.

OK, I found the letter I recieved from the FTFC. Dinner information came with the letter saying I was approved for membership, along with my patches. Here's the essence of it:

Now here's my own question for those who know:

Is there a nice nearby joint where folks can get together before dinner for a quick one, or afterwards for a slow one?

Thanks
