Wildcat D, C, B, A, via Polecat (ski trails), Wildcat Ridge Trail
Date of Hike: Thursday, January 29, 2009
Trail Conditions: Packed powder, powder, windblown
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes
Comments:
Polecat is groomed.
Broke trail from the top of the chairlift all the way to A peak, new snow ranging from 6"-3'+...generally 1-2'. Trail is now pretty well packed. There are a few annoying blowdowns (don't like doing trail maintenance in the dark in winter, otherwise I would have taken out at least two of them).
Trail is *not* broken out from A Peak -> Carter Notch, or from top of ski area -> E Peak.
