Wildcat via Wildcat Ridge Tr from Rt 16

Great hiking conditions. Two ledges were very difficult that I had to go around prior to reaching Wildcat D. The time in the White Mountain Guide was way too optimistic. It took me 3 hours to get to Wildcat D and I felt like I was moving at a good clip (this is one hour more than book time). Need both crampons and snow shoes; trail is very niceley packed out and is well marked/broken out.

I accessed trail head 1 mile south from Pinkham Notch AMC Ctr by walking south along Rt 16 from the AMC parking lot.
