Trails:
Lower, Middle and Upper Linx Ski Trails, Wildcat Ridge Trail to Wildcat D and A and return, Polecat Ski Trail
Special Equipment: None
Trail Notes: ski slopes appear to be recently brush hogged making the going pretty easy. Up the steep, direct route and down the mellow, viewy route. Out and back on Wildcat Ridge Trail clear, no blowdowns.
Hike Notes: Pretty much powered out this hike as I started at 11:30 am. Made good time arriving at top of lifts in 1 hour. Out and back on the ridge was damp and a bit dark but otherwise a nice walk. Enjoyed a PBR with Ed back at the parking lot, and made some new friends. 4 hours total trail time. Was happy to be able to squeeze this hike in on a day when time was short.
NH4k x 2 40-41/48
Late afternoon wind and clouds added much drama to the end of the hike, and spending Halloween alone in Gorham in a blackout?? Spooky day!
