Winter Mountaineering School

What is the relationship of the Winter Mountaineering School to the ADK? Their home page is hosted on earthlink, not on the ADK web site, and is "Copyright 2002-2003 Winter Mountaineering School", rather than ADK. Also I could find no reference to it on the ADK site. It also says, rather cryptically: "Winter School has been sponsored for 50 years by the Adirondack Mountain Club." Note "has been sponsored" rather than "is sponsored".

I wonder if this is AMC-ADK school or the successor. I did a quick search on the AMC site and couldn't pull up anything about AMC-ADK but found a short description with no link on http://www.headbaby.com/montlink.html.

I haven't really heard of the old established school for a while.
