Hoping that enough snow had fallen from the storm on Friday we headed up to do Wittenberg. We found that there was barely enough snow to snowshoe on with snow levels varying between 1' or so to 3-4". The upper section of the trail is more treacherous then I've ever seen it with very light powdery snow covering ice. Even parts that in the past I wouldn't give much thought to were tricky and involved alot of careful stepping on icy ledges and boulders. Be careful out there! Hopefully this storm on Wed will fill things in.
