Very wet and muddy in the lower elevations with a couple inches of snow. Increased snow and ice especially above 4000ft with regular winter conditions. My stablicers and trekking poles were a great help and especially for the decent. Was clouded in with wind and snow above tree line, but a great hike overall. i finished my 46 5 years ago and this was my first peak in 3.5 and i may start on the winter 46. I passed a few people that looked unprepared and wondered how they were going to decend above tree line without the proper gear, but i'm sure they made it.
