Date of Hike: Tue. Feb. 10, 2009
Twin Way trail to Zealand Mt. broken and soft. Trail to Guyot was filled in and drifted. Broke trail to Guyot. Guyot was windswept snow with some ice and lots of bare ground. Bond Cliff Trail to the Bonds was filled in and drifted. The trail to W. Bond was gone due to some new snow and drifts. Broke trail following the blazes which were about a foot or two off of the ground. Trail up to Bond summit was also filled in. Some blow downs and lots of branches in the face. Snow shoes the whole way. The trails that were broken out last Sat. were firm under foot, so the braking was not too difficult. Trip report to follow.
