Sandwich mountain and Jennings Peak via Sandwich Mountain Trail, Jennings Peak Spur, Drake's Brook

Trail Conditions: Varied from 3-6" down low to 6-12" up high, with deeper drifts to 18". Minimal icing except on Jennings Peak Spur. Some Styrofoam texture on top in spots. Stream crossings were no problem. A handful of blowdowns, nothing too obnoxious. There is a bridge out over one small stream (also not a problem, but in case trail maintainers are reading...)
Special Equipment Required: I barebooted the whole loop. Jennings Peak had a "stretch-o-death" section about 20 feet long. Judiciously place trees saved me from putting on traction. Microspikes would probably be appropriate - Juniper and Fat Tuesday wore them.
Comments: High, thin clouds. Decent views.
Round trip time: 5:30 (8.7 miles, 2600'+)
