I have a wire saw somewhere in my archives from 50+ years ago and agree with others here that they are a joke. Mine had rings on each end that would destroy my fingers in seconds. How well does a wire saw work in these applications?
I invested in a Silky Katanaboy 500 folding saw with its wide 18” long stainless steel blade and offset teeth to cut in both directions for our maintenance work on the Glencliff Trail, which was pricy but well worth it.
