After reading a few of the recent posts we set out in search of the & dwarfs motel to meet Franz to park our van. He was very gracious and helpful drawing us a map to get to the snowmobile trail and on to the trailhead.
Once on Twins trail we needed snowshoes the entire trip. The trail was packed but without the shoes we would have postholed the enitre trip. When we got to the location to start the FWT we were unable to locate it due to no traffic that was and recent snow cover. Bushwacked for a while but nothing. After passing the "point of no return" we headed back - maybe next time.
Equipment: snowshoes
Trail: packed but loose
