Mountain Woman posted a trip report in June about the Loop Trail (Fat Man's Misery) Tumbledown Mtn. Does anyone have updated information about the trail? Have the boulder's shifted? Has the trail been rerouted? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Yes please let us know, the previous post said that the boulders had shifted and the passage was unpassable. Any News!

Friends hiked the Loop Trail on Tumbledown this past weekend. The rocks above and below have shifted but the cave is still passable. The water in Crater Pond is very low. Probably due to the amount of water draining out from the stream. The rocks have shifted there as well. The island is no longer an island.

Wow - Why has the island disappeard?

I've gone swimming in that pond several times. Wonder why the island has disappeard?

I understand that the water level dropped enough that the island is now a peninsula.
