Seeker and I took a slightly later start from Boston, arriving at the parking area before 9:00, skis on and moving by 9:30. Beautiful bluebird day shaping up but cold at the start, about 2 degrees when we pulled in. We warmed up quickly as we kicked and glided to the summer trailhead where we put on skins. From there it was the usual slog, and we were passed by two young Turks who were moving at a good clip.

The Glades were amazing today, about 18" of untracked fluff on top of a bombproof base. We could turn where ever we wanted, the skis were floating well and the runs were like heaven. We took two laps and then enjoyed a fine ride out, lots more turns and fun along the way. Out at the car just before 4:00 PM.

Beautiful! Love that back country skiing and birch glades - looks like a great location!

Must have been a hidden corner of NH indeed to find bluebird skies today, though! :D

'Twas a wonderful day!

Some pics of Dave for a change!
