  • Thanks for the greenie Tim. Your correct, hard data is difficult to find. This is one of the very few studies that I have ever come across relating to SAR in New England in particular and the only one I am aware of, of the White Mountains.
My father used to say: "Fishing tackle was never intended to catch fish, just fisherman. I guess I better get me a Popeil's Pocket Fisherman.
Thanks, Tim! It was great to have you sittin' still so we could talk! Congrats again on W48. Much bigger achievement than some let on!
Thanks. It was good talking with you. As we pulled back through the toll booth the woman toll collector asked me if you had been hitchhiking. I said "Oh yes, he was blocking traffic and insisting on a ride, throw him in the clinker and throw away the key.:) Just kidding, although she did ask us what was going on.
Thanks Tim! Glad you were able to get the Bonds in too, before winter ended!
thanks tim..wished I could have joined you guys last week..its all good though ...what a winter..congrats all the way around!!!!!
Hi Tim! That little ledge over Zeacliff Pond is a great place - I am really surprised the trail goes right past it! Actually, that photo is taken from the "mossy ledge", which is a little ways from the rocky ledge that you can see on the upper left of the photo (also a nice spot, but narrow). Both have a excellent view! PS - cool report! I tried to get a "view" from Zealand that same day by whacking through the scrub to the talus slopes, but the scrub won (there was much blood lost). Good to see what I missed for a view from your excellent photos above the snow cover!
Tim, thank you for the kind words, and for the green square! I am interested in doing the Bonds next weekend. I hope my legs will be recovered by then!
