In the past it has been because we wanted to go and also because we were leading trips for AMC. My friend Jerry Yos had hoped to lead this meeting and go Boston Chapter hike. He’s recovering from Achilles tendon surgery and isn’t able to walk without a walker yet, so he called on me to help him out last Sunday. There were about 15 in our group, quite a few from the Gloucester area. There was a woman from Wenham who knew a couple I had known in Wenham back in the 70s. I think the degrees of separation are at work. There was a large contingent of boy scouts and I understand another young members AMC group starting a little later than we did. We saw a few mountain bikers and couldn’t imagine how they managed on some of the trails. I’d be interested in knowing if your friend was there…

Nope, not me. I haven't been able to get out to the Franconia Ridge area for quite some time. It somehow seems ridiculously complicated now that I live in the Conway area. So, yes, I guess you know 3 with the Finepix. :-D

Hi gaiagirl, now that I read you have a Fuji FinePix too, I don't suppose that was you on Flume in early June and I took your picture for you with your friend was it? If not that means I now know at least 3 hikers who use the same camera!
