those bd's were my first pair of crampons, they came to me
at a discount rate, from a really nice guy at ems -- sold me a pair of rentals for something like 25 bucks! was much appreciated because at the time i was a student and had no $$ and really wanted to winter hike...so, i'm just doing my part and tossing back out there.
