  • Thanks, Jazzbo Guy, for the green square and the vote o' confidence in my trip reports...much appreciated!
Glad you found it. We missed you on Sunday morning. Most folks headed to the Egg-sactly Restaurant and then headed home from there.
1:00 sounds reasonable, but you know how parties can go. I'm working on HH peaks. Would you and Steve be doing one of them on Saturday?

If you carpool up with Steve then you can carpool back with me. Oh yeah I forgot you and Dave M both live in Arlington. Anyway I'm bringing a spacious tent so there's room for two (although that might be bit presumptuous) or you can bring yours over from Two Lakes.
That could work! Steve and I are staying at Two Lakes on Friday night and hiking Sat. Then he needs to head home, so I was thinking about staying for the party. I won't have a car, so I would need a ride to and from Two Lakes. Any idea how late you might be staying at the party? I don't mind staying late (1 a.m. or so), but don't want to cramp your style if you want to stay later. And if I stay with you, I would split the cost for Sat. night--no problem there!
Boundary the bushwhack way, huh? I did it via Quebec, which worked out great. I would certainly consider it if time permits, but am in serious need of Whitecap and NKD, so that I can finish the 100 two weeks later in BSP. Any idea how much extra mileage that would be?

Boundary is one of the coolest peaks that I have ever done!

    Regards,
    M
    Ray,
Aug 22 and 23 may be a good weekend for Whitecap and NKD for me. Jason B may also be interested. You would be most welcome to stay at my place in Rangeley. Would be also happy to redo one of the other Maine bushwhacks the other day, too.

    Regards,
    Marty

    Best regards,
    Marty
That washout on the road near Barnjum was not there 3 weeks ago! I had no difficulty driving up there in a corolla
    Ray,
Congrats on your newly achieved and richly deserved Mt. Steward Status. No uniform or special emails from Darren, or anything. Just a lighter shade of green!

Let me know when you are thinking of heading up there. Would love to join you. Haven't done the Bigelows in six years (long overdue) and Saddleback/Horn are always a favorite. I don't know of anyone heading up except for Rols/Tuco, who are going after the peaks you did last weekend.

I am hoping to do Whitecap and North Kennebago Divide this summer. Those and the Baxter peaks are all remaining in my Hundred Highest quest. Any interest in that bushwhack?

    Best regards!
    Marty
I'd probably be willing to risk the dangers of entering Prospect Hill, to help out with the water bars. I'm sure we could get Gillian involved too. Let me know how things play out. Weekday evenings are generally best for us.
Yes, it's entirely possible I have listed the wrong brook - I thought it was Wiggle, but ... it's been quite a few years also.
I am interested if I can get away....Ridgewalker may also be interested...he's a cadet at Norwich University.
    Thanks for the offer!
Whoa! This PM tool is a lot different. I'm not sure how it works, but I'll give it a try. I've been going up north every weekend this oct and work all week long so, but I drive by you housae each morning wanting to say hi. This weekend we're going up to Cardigan for trail work weekend. Next weekend we'll be staying home. Actually we'll be going to Audrey and pat's for potluck. We should catch up at least at Audrey's. Let's communicate by email. I like that better. My email is: [email protected]
Hey Jazzbo -- we're still settling in but would like to catch up with you for that tour of Prospect Hill Park ! I've been going to Cat Rock in Weston alot; Terra thinks CR is doggy heaven. :)
