Happy Birthday!! It was great to see you last night. I hope to check off as many peaks as I can, given that the weather cooperates (funny how I've ended up with 10 tough ones to finish with)... single season winter, here I come...

Hey, if I tell everyone I'm 61 will they tell me how good I look for my age? Nah, I'm 50. I just look and feel like I'm 61. I don't know why it says that.

You've got to be kidding me! I saw today's birthday's?! 61!? Someone in your family is REAL bad at math. That cannot be right. There's no way in God's green earth that number is correct. I know I haven't seen you in awhile but you don't look 61. Congrats on being young.

it was so great to see you guys! i wish i had the energy to hike up front with you more, but i have been fighting a sinus infection and its really zapped me! i just wanted to thank you very much for the book of poetry and photography -- i have not had a chance to read it yet, i'm saving it for a special day when i have time to curl up in a big comfy chair with a hot cup of tea and give it the attention it deserves! it will certainly live on our coffee table so our guests can enjoy it, too.

Kevin - Not sure how soon I can return, hopefully one of next 4 weekends. Dad has a camp in Epsom, since 1970. I'm realizing theres some great hiking right around, without the trip & expense of the whites.

That would be cool! New territory for us. We made it to Nancy Cascades on a wicked hot day once, stopped there. Would be a cool November hike, maybe with some early snow? Looking forward to the winter season, too! Emma just got a bath, Judy thinks she was the dirtiest ever. She takes Em with 2 other dogs to a farm near us every Wednesday. Big year for you guys!
