Hi. Thanks for the green. I was just reading Big Earl's report that he had dated 1/23 and I had to recheck the calendar to see if we had really gone on the same day. Except for the light crystalline like snow we had no rain at all. We were well sheltered from the wind except of course for the few moments we were on the top.

Thx Mark. A good pack will carry 37lbs ok. Carrying snowshoes would have put me over 40+ ouch!

Thanks for the greenie Mark! That shot near Waumbek was a lucky one with a lousy camera. Just one of those days - it often seems to be misty up there. That's a great ridge...and beautiful in winter as I'm sure you're well aware.
