  • Thanks for the green square, Feathered Hat!

Also, Alex owes you a thank yo unote for the very nice gifts you gave her. She loves the bandana and is learning how to use the compass. You were very thoughtful that day -- thanks. Alex will write you later today or tomorrow, I'm sorry we delayed as long as we have.
This is a bit late but thanks for the green square you sent me on my shelburne-moriah report! I am just getting used to how it all works on Views!
Thank you, Steve, for the green badge of...do we need stinking badges...? Yes, we do!

It was good to see you and hike with you last Sunday. I enjoyed in particular the chat on the ridge trail with you and Jason...need to do that again. The Elwell Trail is always waiting...
Hey Steve..indeed a pleasure to enjoy the hike and humor on sunday..it certainly makes for a great day in the woods with such a diverse yet cohesive group of hikers..My namesake..Tuckerman..well except for the finger slabbering thing..did great i thought and opened up all kinds of comic relief for rocket
Thanks, Steve, not only for the green square, but for the gifts at the top and your kindness in general. Alex loves the bandana, compass, and the card you gave her. Thanks so much.
Steve, I had an excellent time making your acquaintance and meeting Tuckerman as well! He is a handsome dog with a nice demeanor. Glad he's in the right hands now so he'll be a happy hiker for years. Very interested in catching up with you on your connection to the beef industry. Never did ask from what perspective you write but I'm guessing you've had some interesting experiences. See you on the trail again sometime soon!
Good time sunday. Nice easy pace. I'd love to do some trout fishing with you. This time of year the brook trout get their spawning colors. A thing of beauty.
we ended up getting a bit of a late start and only had one car so did rattle river to shelburne moriah and out and called it a day..a great peak!!..some kind of hot and hazy and at times the light breeze died to nothing
TFH, you're going to love F&C. If you can, take the time to read it cover to cover--don't worry about retaining it all--and then go back and reread about your planned hikes. And, don't forget the 171 pages of reference notes--a treasure unto itself.
Doing the Elwell Trail from one end to the other (and throwing in Cardigan Mountain, for good measure) would be totally cool -- I know that Sandra would want to come along, too.

    Let's plan on it...!
    Feathered Hat -- two things:

    1. Thanks for the green square; and

    2. I totally agree with you regarding what constitutes a good trip report...I totally agree.
