it was a great evening, there were so many among us getting their patches that night, i didn't want anyone to feel left out! alex is such a cutie!
oh there were plenty of other standing ovations, tom. really, there were! the hiker forum contingent gave a standing ovation to *everyone* from the forums that night, and there were plenty of finishers!
