Indeed, I hiked in Maine! I do the border peaks down here pretty frequently, but I only seem to get up to Rangeley once or twice a year (Sugarloaf, Spaulding, and Abe last year, Saddlebacks year before). Hoping to do the Bigelows in the next few weeks, then perhaps get two good days in Baxter for Katahdin and Brother!

No kidding...I fear that we're in the same weather pattern as last year at this time - lots of rain, and weather forecasters who really don't know what's going to happen.

That is sad.. I was looking forward to spending quality time with some wet hiker babes over a beer or two..Understand though,,a ways to drive to get poured on as you drive back..the fun part would be over quickly..it would be a good way to introduce someone to the NH rain forest..I do hope do get out for a hike sun afternoon and will cruise the cman to check for familar faces..Doing some kind of a Cabot Horn Bulge loop tueseday for some of the group. who need those Ne100..have a great weekend..I am so sorry not to be able to make your bbq..perhaps we can get together soon and do some good italian someplace....

we are having a brief rain out here, its a window that lasts about 8 hours, they had it in NY earlier today. i find it funny that this am at 5:30 weatherunderground had lincoln at a 20% chance of precip, then it changed to 60% by 8am (for sunday).
