    On Smarts Mountain Emma ate a 1/2 bag of that sausage Judy buys her, then proceeded to down a bag of Jack Links Jerky. She finished it with a few puperonis and some dry kibble for dessert. I don't know where she puts it. She is ravenous on these hikes.

    Too much salt for her. I'll give treats again this weekend.

    Hello! I'm adapting all right I guess...still looking for a place to work. That is the biggest issue right now. It took me several weeks to get used to the hot and humid weather, but that seems to be all over with now. Next thing to get used to...no snow. There are some interesting hiking options in the area, and I'm trying to take full advantage...and I post them on views when I can. Hope all is well with you! That looked like a great trip for the flags. Wish I was up there.

    You look just like the photo in your avatar and so I could pick you out immediately. I on the other hand, come up a bit “short” in regard to resembling my avatar!:rolleyes::)

    Sheep is a 4 year old Gioldendoodle. His daddy was a standard poodle and mom was a Golden Retriever. I wasn't expecting to get such a prefect hiking machine but he has been amazing. I had never hiked in the Whites before he came along and now it's hard to keep us out of the woods.

    Not sure about a hike this weekend. We're hosting a picnic with family on Sunday and we'll need Saturday to prepare. On Monday one of my nephews has hinted about a Bonds Traverse, which may or may not happen. If it doesn't, that might be our day for a hike. How about you, Michael and Terra? (Michael, btw, got me very interested in hiking Black Mountain. I think Jason Berard is interested in this too.)
