thanks for the greenie Sabrina...btw...I had four biscuits for Terra, but they looked so good, I ate one :p
Thank you for the green-spot, Sabrina. Tuck was happy to do a little route-exploring for Terra. It's a long hike for a dog, but Terra's done longer so it shouldn't be a problem. The ups and downs over the Cannonballs, after the back-and-forth between the Kinsmans, took a lot of Tuckerman's energy, and I think he wouldn't been happy to end the day with a ride down the tram, but when we finally reached the car four miles after Cannon he was still a bundle of energy. Water for dogs can sometimes be an issue over the Cannonballs, but snowmelt this week should re-supply puddles and a couple of small pools (there's a nice one right on the trail between middle and south Cannonball).
No thanks. Not our style. But wanted to congratulate this very special dog on her accomplishment. I'm sure you guys will have a blast.

Thanks for the green spot, Sabrina. You're generous and I appreciate it.

Anxious to introduce you, Michael and, of course, Terra to Polly. Maybe in winter or spring -- I need to find out what kind of hiking dog she'll be before we try any large hikes. She should be great, but I don't know yet how she'll behave on the trail. She's still trying to figure out her relationship with Tuckerman and all that.
Thanks for the green square. I seriously thought about trying to tack on Moriah to the Wild River loop but that's a big climb up from the N. Carter col and some of the trails in that area can be a bit hard to follow after dark. I love that area so much. Just the act of getting to the campground makes you feel like you're in a different world.
